Words from Tom
Even if you’ve already watched one of our 97+ shorter versions before, or if you’ve never, get yourself down to the Liverpool Olympia on Friday 12th April 2024 to witness the debut of the full play.
It’s not just the artwork that’s changed; now with a complete seven characters, meet a whole new family, including more verbatim testimonies provided by the HSA, and added twist to the tale, it really is not one to be missed.
Having previously performed our shorter, festival edition of the play at Liverpool Theatre Festival, Edge Hill University, Buxton Fringe and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival I am very excited to now be marking the debut of the full play back in Liverpool at the grand Liverpool Olympia!
This will be the biggest venue 97+ has performed at to date. And to help me fill it, I am delighted to be co-producing with Bill Elms Productions. Bill was the first one to take a chance on my new writing back in May 2022 at the Liverpool Theatre Festival so it is a great honour to be working together for what will be almost two years later.
Thank you as always to the Hillsborough Survivors Support Alliance for your continued support in all 97+ productions. I’m excited for those members that wish to come along to see what the full play has to offer. We will continue to educate audiences on the TRUTH of Hillsborough and raise awareness for survivors who continue to suffer from their trauma.
